A Cynical Poem

"Love Is Not My Fate"

Love is not my fate.
Yet one look into your eyes and my heart just melts
Everything else is a blur
And my beating heart screams for your touch
Your love
As I dream of the day
The impossible day
In which we will be together.

But alas, our destinies collide
And repel each other
As if un-natural forces
Are pulling us apart.
We are too different
And too similar
And too sinful
To ever deserve each other.

Love is not my fate
And I try to fight the inevitable
But fail each time.
And each time my chi refuses to let me love
To let me live
My heart deteriorates
And falls into withered pieces
Pieces in which I collect
Into my scrapbook of un-destined love
To remind myself, how
Love is not my fate.



There's my attempt in writing a poem about "love". I originally wanted to write about the changes from fall to winter, but I couldn't think how to start it. I then came across this poem and thought about writing a poem that is the exact opposite of it.

Anywho, I'm going to try to write more poems from now on and submit them to the poetry section of my school's newspaper. In the mean time, I have to go work on my oral book review for English on Life Of Pi by Yann Martel. Fun.

Your eyes are scared. Your eyes are scared of pain, or rejection. You know how much it hurts to lose someone u cared for, but in return they dumped you like a sack of potatoes! Someday you will find your special friend, or lover, so dont stay hidden too much. You have also seen much misery when it comes to guy too, so you pefer to keep it safe, and keep your heart locked up from everyone guy that seems to be interested. You dont wanna go through anymore pain....



WTF. How much more emo can you get? Gahhhhhhh I keep talking about emo this and emo that. I'm not fucking emo. And that quiz fucking sucked and was too vague and general to really describe me. HOW DARE THEY. ROAARRRRRRRRR.
